Seven short English poems
The hidden muse
My hidden muse,
The last of muses,
Reads books
And refuses
To inspire my poems.
Her long hand
Teaches me how touching words,
Soft sound I hear
In my dreams;
Follow it like beams
To paradise.
Oh old Gods
Bestow me entity
And bless her
The most amazing eyes.
**
A shiny throne
A queen on the shiny throne
Filled my eyes with a sunny beam
I see but know will disappear.
Oh great beauty
Be merciful!
Show me how to forget your look
Emerges in heavenly sight
Inside my softy chest.
Oh deer don’t run in meadow;
Slow down, wait for me;
Forever far from you is hard
Be kind with a heart
Worships you in night.
**
Raghad
She writes and lights
My Dark age.
Fill my page
With your monster,
Goes out in nights
In searching for a shadow
Shadow of my tree
Of mine.
It happens to find me,
Writing you in a poem,
Dedicated for your cloudy sky,
Or a cumulonimbus
Pours an inky stream
Over our heads
unconscious in a kiss
On my page
And your cage.
**
One word
Two voices in a word.
And the gloomy Sunday’s rose,
Wafted its scent in shadow.
closed are the blessing doors
Open are the leaving days,
and the prolonged grief.
Hand, two, and three,
Running backward,
Where flowers are same.
A sunny eye is watching
Witnessing that evening;
Fading with a voice.
The word lasts In searching for-
Sound and home.
**
A Womenworshipper
A long way to stay
Between your hands
Or under your feet.
Command quietly
I hear and fear
the moving lips.
Everything is done
your fingers are a plan
learn the man:
How to know, to do,
And fill to blow
Right now for you.
I come tonight
Surrender no fight
Bestow my soul.
**
My philosopher girl
Like day and night
She comes and leaves,
In the path of leaves.
The trees undress,
Kneel their boughs,
Yield the last rose
To a philosopher girl.
In daylight or moon
Her step will soon
Be the way in haze
Her word is a law
Rules the maze.
Her age is lost
in hands of mine.
The line went far
Never been near
Or said will come
To chain your hand
Or conquer your land
By feet of mine
Just follow my line.
Her Name
Your name or a convinced face
Your game in the imaginary maze
Has gone by furrows’ light
Not lose, nor win,
No way to the night.
Ever shine, never mine
Oh sky show me the line
I see and be this time
But the eye is big-
Bigger than I can.
Fade away I wish
With a voice you tremble
To hear your name
Or disappear in a hush
From lips or push of hand.
